The Ford Performance 302 short block lets you build it your way by adding your choice of heads, cam, intake, and oil system. All forged internals make the Ford Performance 302 short block an excellent value and a solid foundation for any 302 build.

- Forged steel crankshaft
- Neutral balanced rotating assembly – requires 'zero' balance flywheel or flex plate
- Recommended cylinder head fasteners: M-6065-BOSS head bolts or M-6014-BOSS head studs
- Most aftermarket performance cylinder heads are compatible. Built with pistons designed for 20 degree valve angle heads.
- Designed for M-6049-X306/X307/Z304DA/Z304P and N351 cylinder heads
- Works well with Ford Performance cylinder heads M-6049-Z2 and M-6049-X2
- Assembled and ready for your heads, cam and timing chain set
- Requires head gaskets M-6051-CP331 or M-6051-S331
- High-performance harmonic balancer M-6316-D302 recommended
